The 36"x48" is the larger of the two single-sided LED light box formats. At 36 inches wide and 48 inches tall, the illuminated graphic surface covers three square feet, 44% more display area than the 30"x40" configuration. That scale difference changes the display's function in a meaningful way: at 36x48, the light box moves from a supplementary display element into a primary visual anchor for a retail wall, trade show booth, or corporate lobby installation.
The frame construction is identical to the 30x40, aluminum with satin silver finish, polycarbonate lens, vinyl diffusion grid for even backlit illumination, and quick-clip snap frame for tool-free graphic changes. At 11 lbs, it wall-mounts without heavy fixings. Translucent graphics are optional. Lead time is 1 business day from proof approval.

36"x48" Media Area - Primary Visual Scale
At three square feet of illuminated graphic surface, the 36x48 operates at a scale where it becomes the dominant visual element on a wall rather than a supplementary accent. Product photography, campaign imagery, brand murals, and large-format menu panels all have enough surface area at 36x48 to be read clearly from across a room. It’s something a 30x40 cannot achieve at the same viewing distances. For retail walls, hotel lobbies, corporate reception areas, and large trade show booth backdrops, this is the format that commands the space.
Same 11 lb Weight at Larger Dimensions
The 36x48 maintains the same 11 lb frame weight as the 30x40 despite the 44% increase in graphic area. The aluminum and polycarbonate construction keeps the weight consistent across both sizes, wall-mounting requirements and fixing specifications are the same for both formats.
Vinyl Diffusion Grid Across a Larger Surface
Achieving even light distribution across 36x48 inches is a more demanding task than across 30x40 inches. The vinyl diffusion grids function as scattering LED point sources into a uniform illuminated field becomes more critical at this size, where uneven illumination would be more visible and more difficult to ignore across a larger graphic area. The diffusion grid is the same system as the smaller format but engineered for the wider surface dimensions.
Quick-Clip Snap Frame for Large-Format Graphic Changes
At 36x48, translucent graphic panels are larger and physically more unwieldy to handle during changes than the 30x40 panels. The quick-clip mechanism opens all four sides of the frame simultaneously, allowing the graphic to be released and re-seated across the full perimeter without managing multiple separate clips or tools. For large-format panels, this system is operationally more important than at smaller sizes.
